Week 6

Week 6 was thanksgiving week!
The previous weekend was also our Cantonese and English thanksgiving events.
On Friday night, we helped to setup the stuff needed for the thanksgiving weekend ahead. It was pretty fast as we just needed to setup back the stuff similar to the previous week and the lights were already rigged and focused.

 I was the camera operator for both the Cantonese & English thanksgiving events.
I was more confident operating the camera on Sunday as my experiences with handling a camera increases.(:

On Wed night, we had our Mass Media thanksgiving dinner. We mainly helped Phil with simple dishes.

We also played some games together. The 4 of us came up with a small Singaporean game for the rest.

Thursday was the actual thanksgiving day & we headed off to Harry friend’s place for dinner!

Food!

The next day was Black Friday and at the strike of midnight we went to do grocery shopping. Haha yes who does grocery shopping on a Black Friday? Us. Because the food sections were not crowded with people haha. We spend black Friday catching Hunger Games which I personally felt was very well done because I could understand it despite not reading a single book or watching the first movie. That night we also joined Peiying & friends for their thanksgiving dinner potluck.(:

On Saturday, Alex needed help with the lights in the sanctuary again. The guys mainly setup the lights, I just supported them with whatever they need.

Alex & co were cleaning the baptism pool for our baptism service on Sunday. Super cool how the stage opens up and you can go under, or find a small pool at the back.

We went Exploratorium with Peiying as well! Really enjoyed it though I wished we had more time to spend there because we were rushing to Rev Lau’s place for dinner after that.

We also bought a Godiva Chocolate Cake from Cheesecake Factory for the dinner. Pity everyone was too full from dinner to really enjoy the cake! Haha

On Sunday, we had our baptism service. Mathew was baptised! Congratulations!!(: As part of a celebration, or just gathering, a big group of about 20 of us went to have buffet after service. Hmm yuuums(:

We went Pacifica Beach after that to take a walk as it was near the buffet place.

I think they were trying to skip stones.

It was going to be the last relaxing weekend we’re gonna have before the busy days start with preparing and setting up for Christmasing and all the school children shows.(:
