The Final Week

So week 12 had finally come.It was a week we had all dreaded would finally come.The last week of our internship in San Francisco.But it was fun nevertheless.

We decided to follow the China Study group which had come, on a city tour of SF on the tour bus.Although we had been through these places several times,it was still nice to see these places again.We stopped down at Union Square to do some shopping before heading home in the evening.

The next day, Jessica brought us out around Town to sightsee some more and she brought us to places where only Locals would go so it was pretty neat =D We went over to see the Victorian Houses and the Bison in Goldengate park.In the evening she brought us down to Lands End Lookout to watch the sunset,and the view was gorgeous.It was one of the most beautiful sunsets i have ever seen.The view from land's end was great and we all had a nice time the

On the 3rd last day,i begged Harry to take us to Little Lucca's for Lunch so i could have my favourite sandwich!! I totally enjoyed my last Little Lucca's Combo that i totally gorged down the giant sandwich.I was a happy man after that =D And at night,Matt took us out for Dinner at a Vietnamese joint and after that we went to Cafe nearby for some nice live music and drinks. After that,we all went back to church for our farewell dessert party.Alot of people were there.It was a great time and we took pictures with everyone that was there.I'm really gonna miss them =(

On the 2nd last day,I went out with Jessica in the afternoon,while the rest were too tired to spend the day exploring.She brought me over to see the Mission Dolores park and to the Randall Museum.After we had explored the museum,we went up tthe hill behind the museum and we found this amazing view of the city.It offered a wonderful 360 degerees view of the surrounding area and the city.In the evening,we had dinner at the CheeseCake Factory and i ate a whole slice of Godiva Chocolate Cheesecake.I can certainly say that i've had good last meal before leaving =P

I have had a wonderful time this past few months and have really learnt alot and enjoyed myself.I'll be back soon everybody,you can count on that!

So for Week 11,with all of the major productions done,there wasn't much else for us to do except continue working on the dorms before the china group arrived.So now was the time to finish off our Sight-Seeing list and whatever shopping that we still wanted to do.

We went over to the California Academy of Sciences to look around.This place was sort of like the exploratorium but more towards different topics and a little less interactive.But this place was just as cool.The place was split off into different parts which showed different things.There was an aquarium,an African plains exhibition,Planetarium and more!This place even had a Tropical Dome that simulates the humidity and enviroment of the Rainforests in Asia.When i went in i had to take off my jacket as it was already starting to feel more like Singapore,it was really interesting.There was also another exhibition on Earthquakes and how they work.The exhibition even had one of those machines that you could go into and it would sort of simulate how an earthquake would feel like.

We also got to tour around Expression College which Tania is studying in now.The facilities they had were on a much larger scale compared to our school and it was very interesting.We even managed to spot Tania in class and give her a scare.Although the school is pretty small,i can see that its a pretty good school with an accelerated bachelor's although i myself dont really wanna go there but it could be a choice after NS in the future!

We also went to Visit EA as Harry knew someone who worked there and they were kind enough to give us a tour of the place!After that we had lunch at Apple HQ!Although we didnt get to tour around there,it was still an exciting thing to do!

After that Harry brought us down to San Jose to Tech Museum to see the Star Wars Exhibition there!I was so excited looking at the real costumes,props and models used in the Movies!I was totally in Star Wars heaven there =D

I had alot of fun that week and really enjoyed such exploring all these wonderful places people dont always get to go to!
