We went back on Monday to start working on the beds on the 2nd floor and Cambridge and i found a room with a giant safe in it!The safe is very old when and i looked up the company that made it the company was only around till World War 2! Which could mean that the safe was built around then!So cool!!The rest of the weekdays was spent shooting the School Performances for the kids in the different Grades.Watching the cute little kids perform on stage in the Sactuary in their Adorable costumes is so fun =D And Phil even taught me how to do sound in the Sanctuary when they didnt have enough people. I've done a little sound in church before but its still intimidating to do it for a performance for the parents in front of me so that they could listen as their children dance and sing. But i managed to do it twice without much mistakes thankfully! Then on thursday after the performance, Alex took us over to Chestnut Avenue where almost the neighbourhood decorates their houses in awesome Christmas lights and decorations! It was amazing walking up and down the streets looking at house upon house of amazing Christmas lights! If any one in SF had any christmas spirit in them it was these people! Then on Saturday it was the Cantonese ChristmasSing which was also interesting and funny because at least i understood most of it unlike mandarin =P Next weekend would be the last ChristmasSing and the biggest!
Giant meatballs and a box of Ice cream sandwiches. Life's good =P
