Week 10

This week was the week we went for our short break to Lake Tahoe with Harry & family!
After the crazy Christmasing weekend, we had Monday to sleep in a little before we started packing and putting back the equipment in its places in the studio.

On Tuesday, Wind & myself went downtown to soak in a little of the Christmas atmosphere(or just to walk around) haha while Kenneth went to meet his parents who were in US for a holiday.

Rev Lau also invited us over to his place for Christmas eve dinner!
Before dinner, we went up the hill near his place to watch the sunset.

Christmas Day came and we left for Tahoe! It was a 4 hours drive up. Harry & Li Soon both took turns to drive all of us up.

We stopped midway and played with snow. Sorry first time see snow ah. Haha
Yay, we're finally here on Christmas Day!

We just chilled in our cabin most of the time, catching movies at night and we ate meals cooked by Li Soon, ahh love this homely feel.(:
We snowmobiled the next day. I am of course not the driver haha.
It was quite a cool scenic trip. Shawn and Kenneth both have the gopro footages of the trip.(:

That night Harry brought us to Lake Tahoe's downtown.
We also stepped into another State, Nevada!
We walked through the casino and headed for the arcade. Haha

Father & son battling it out with the arcade games. Haha
The next day, we decided not to ski or snowboard because it wasn't really worth it as the snow was not really enough to enjoy all these activities.  So Harry brought the whole group out to sightsee.
Lake Tahoe from the top.
We had lunch at this restaurant by the lake.

I honestly feel the highlight of this whole trip for me was the gorgeous scenic view of Emerald Bay.
Pictures do not really do it justice as just being there and seeing how the blues of the sky and sea blend together in harmony was quite breathaking.

On our last morning, I headed out for a morning walk in the woods just opposite our cabin.

On our way down, we ate at some pancake house at Placerville.
I had eggs benedict!(:

Caught the sunset on the way back to SF!

Thanks Harry & Li Soon for driving us and taking care of us throughout the trip!
We were back in Cornerstone on Saturday night and for service the next day, I did sound and we went out to watch the Secret Life of Walter Mitty. Personally felt that the art direction was really good but story was okay. Haha
