Week 10,Merry Christmas and up to Lake Tahoe we went! It was a long drive up to the lake but it was worth it when i got my first glimpse of snow for the first time!It wasn't much snow but it was still wonderful to see that white snow on the ground,i could barely contain myself.And the views we saw going up to Tahoe were amazing!It's amazing and breathtaking and you could just look at the view for hours and not get bored.The cabin we were staying in was a small cozy place and it made the experience even more authentic and wonderful =D We spent the next few days in Tahoe going Snowmobiling across the wonderful countryside and taking in the awe inspiring view of mountains and vast open spaces covered in snow,going sightseeing at different places around Tahoe and enjoying the views it brought,watching movies in the living room till late night and much more.The whole experience was just so great and wonderful and i defeintely want to go back to Tahoe as soon as i can =) Too bad i didnt get try out snowboarding though,would have sealed the deal for me for sure but I'm happy with the experience ive had at tahoe!After we came back,on New Years Eve,we went over to the presidio to take a look a the Walt Disney Musuem with Tania our senior.It was a very interesting musuem dedicated to the Life of Walt Disney and how he came to create such wondrous childhood movies and cartoons.It showed us his determination through times of trouble and how he got his remarkable ideas.After touring the museum we went over to Japantown for lunch before heading back to Cornerstone to get ready for WatchNight.There weren't many people who came for watchnight service to revel in the New Year but it was heartwarming and fun and i even came up to share about being able to come to San Francisco and all that,although i have no idea what compelled me to do so =DI just wanna thank Harry and family for taking us interns up there with them to enjoy a nice vacation and have a good time!Happy New Year everyone!
